Unicorn

The Unicorn is not proven to exist.
It is only reported.

Accounts surface during prolonged wakefulness, emotional exhaustion, or moments where thought loses its edges. The descriptions are inconsistent, which makes them reliable.

Some witnesses describe a shape.
Others, a presence.
A few recall only the certainty that they were no longer alone.

Overview

The Unicorn does not obey physical laws because it does not seem interested in them. It appears where structure weakens: during internal silence, contradiction, or quiet despair.

Whether it arrives from elsewhere or forms in place remains unclear. Attempts to classify it as imaginary fail for the same reason attempts to prove it real do.

It leaves traces, not answers.

Observed Characteristics

Behavioral Notes

Several reports note its absence is more noticeable than its presence.

Unverified Interpretations

Some suggest the Unicorn is a manifestation of unresolved emotion.
Others believe it functions as an external observer.

A less popular theory proposes it is neither.

That it is simply what appears when help is finally permitted.

Personal Annotation

I have never seen one remain.

I do not think they leave.
I think they become unnecessary.
